EYA – The new name for QMedia
Formerly known as QMedia. Eya is the brightest and best Media and Entertainment company in Quatar and the whole of the gulf region, with ambitions to be a globally recognised brand. Eya illuminates your world with a 24 hour identity system that recon! gures according to it’s timezone and location.
The Eya identity and brand look and feel is created by the use of calligraphy written in light, inspired by the artist Julien Breton. The letterforms capture the essence of regional traditional arabic calligraphy and the expressive nature of creativity and innovation, a perfect combination for a brand in the Media and Entertainment sector.
Eya launch ! lm used to promote the name change from QMedia to Eya through cinemas and tv advertising coverage in Qatar and the Middle East region.
An illuminated identity
This identity is born out of the ancient Arabic scripture from which the name Eya originated.
The creative idea behind this identity is painting with light –bringing illumination and colour to the way Eya is presentedto the world. What makes this identity truly special is that it transforms itself to work both day and night.
The identity has been combined with example messaging to further demonstrate Eya’s promise of ‘illuminating your world’. The brand expression is as vibrant, poetic and beautiful as the experience Eya delivers through its world-class service.
Eya is literally illuminating its 24-hour, global identity for the world to see. Eya is always switched on.
